Tired

My wife had a telephone call from her brother last evening, regarding her parents and their ongoing feud, so she didn't sleep well.  Consequently, neither did I.  So I am struggling to concentrate properly today.  I keep starting something, then having an idea about something else, and starting that, before having an idea about something else...

So I have lots of things which are only just started, and none completed!  What I am managing to do though, is to make some progress towards getting the Sassanid/Parthian horse archers ready for painting - I've cleaned up all the castings, and am busy drilling holes for brass wire pins to reinforce the glued joints between torso and abdomen and man and horse.

I am also writing chunks of Pax Romana.  So far I have thirteen 'chapter' headings, and seven of those have some text in them (one, movement, is as good as finished - though it'll no doubt see some changes to the fine detail as I write other sections), with a further three just having notes.  So, surprising as it may seem for one so tired, I am making pretty good progress.  So far it is all quite 'WAB-like' - which is unsurprising, given that I enjoy playing WAB.  Having said that, even only having written about twenty pages, there are some important and pretty significant differences from WAB.

It's The Other Partizan MMIX at Kelham Hall, Newark, on Sunday.  I am really looking forward to going along to do some shopping and see lots of friends.  If you're going too, feel free to look me up for a chat.  Ask any of the Irregulars, or ask at the Warlord Games trade stand - they all have the misfortune to know me!

Right, I've just had another idea for Pax Romana, so I'd better nip off and type it in before I forget what it was!
