US Cavalry
The 'missing' US Cavalryman made a strange 'bench-fellow' for the Normans, but it was easier to paint him as part of a batch of figures than on his own, despite having very few colours in common with them. Here he is, third from the right, with his rightful commilitones.
Normans
Here are a couple of points of Normans for Saga - eight warriors with crossbows and twelve peasant levies with bows. The figures are from Gripping Beast. They've painted up well - as usual with Gripping Beast, they look a lot better painted than the bare metal suggests. I went for a selection of colours which match vegetable dyes - mostly the 'cheaper', more common, varieties. …
