Allied Triarii
Here are the Triarii for my first allied legion. The figures are from Aventine Miniatures, as usual, and are from their Etruscan range. Shield transfers are from Little Big Men Studios. I'm really pleased with the look of the allies - similar, but definitely not the same as the Romans.

Real life, this year, is really getting in the way of wargaming. I have been, and remain, far too busy, doing all sorts of things for all sorts of people. Right now my time is being taken up revising the church's child protection policy - as one of the churchwardens, I am an ex-officio member of the child protection sub-group of the Parochial Church Council. …
